President William Ruto has fired a sharp warning at opposition leaders, accusing them of sustained attacks over the past two years and vowing that he will not hold back in responding.

Speaking during a public address, Ruto said he had exercised restraint despite constant criticism, but his recent response had triggered loud protests from his rivals.

“Wamenitukana miaka mbili, nimewajibu mara moja wameanza nduru… na bado!” he declared, signaling that he is prepared to hit back even harder.

The President criticized opposition figures for what he termed as hypocrisy, claiming they had freely criticized his administration but were now unable to handle retaliation. He insisted that his government remains focused on delivering its mandate despite political noise.

Ruto’s remarks are expected to escalate tensions between his administration and opposition leaders, particularly allies of Raila Odinga, who have been vocal in challenging government policies and leadership decisions.
